EVENTS

Business meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm. Members are encouraged to participate in the meetings to learn how the club operates, propose ideas, and socialize. The annual meeting of members is held on the first Tuesday in November for the purpose of electing directors and carrying out business.


Members get together in the Spring and Fall to clean the planes from nose to tail. Food and drinks are provided and members have an opportunity to meet new people and engage in hanger talk. A Winter Holiday Dinner and Summer Picnic allows members and families to get acquainted and enjoy good food.


Blackhawk promotes Rockford's annual Airfest and volunteers when able. The Airfest has one of the best shows in the Midwest. Past Airfest headliners included the Thunderbirds, Blue Angels, and F-22 Raptor.
